Nice fabric and beautiful color. Fits like a gloveļ¼
This is a nice quality waistcoat. It's not real suede, but a good quality faux suede, and it's not a corset. Light and comfortable to wear, the zipper makes it easy to put on. The cording is very long, however, and not the same material as shown in the pictures (shown as more of a suede matching the fabric) but it's not a big issue. Perfect for Renaissance Faires or cottagecore outfits. I'm 5'2" with a 32 inch bust and 26 inch waist and I got size small, fits very well and it's comfortable to wear for long periods because there is no boning.

Although Retro Fairy is pricey for me, I continue to purchase from them since I love the old academic / pioneer styles and at least the quality appears to be good for the price!
I feel like I've been looking forever for something like this item but I'm really particular about how metal grommets look, the lacing, etc. I decided to give this a shot and I'm so glad I did! I was worried about the sizing, but it ended up being perfect! I'm usually an M-L in tops but ordered a 2xl because of my bust measurement. Obviously it's adjustable because of the lacing but just in general, it fits really well! I will definitely order this in black later down the line, and would 100% order it in more colors, especially a darker brown. It's really soft and comfortable, I'm absolutely in love with it! I'm a short gal at 5"2 as well and it's definitely not too long at all on my torso, which I was also worried about. it fits so well it almost seemed tailored! also there's a side zipper which I didn't notice before buying but it's a nice feature!
