I’m so happy with my new dress! I’m a UK size 12 (US size 8) with a 32c bra size and a pear body shape and the L fits me perfectly. The dress is beautifully constructed with high quality thick fabrics, so I would 100% recommend it to fans of the Gunne sax brand. You can tell that this dress has been made with love and respect of the original brand and is not just a cheap knockoff, taking advantage of the current raise of popularity of the Gunne sax style.
This reproduction is my favorite one so far I think! The print is perfect and I’m SO happy with the length - at 5”1 inches, I’m usually dwarfed by Gunne Sax maxis. I got the size S and it fit perfectly for my 32-33” bust, 26-27” waist. The skirt is so full and lovely. I do wish the ribbon was more rusty-orange like the print, but I appreciate that color is hard to find and the red is striking in its own way. Not too hard to replace if you ever felt like it… :)
Beautiful dress. My measurements are 34-29-34 and I ordered an XL because I didn't want to get stuck with a dress that is too small. The XL fit in the waist but not the bust (too big) or the overall length (too long). I decided to just get it altered at the local tailor because it would be way less hassle (and probably cost the same) than sending it back for another one. I am very happy with my purchase!
I had the size up to the extra large I am a US size 6 with a 34C bra size..this sizing fits me perfect and the dress is beautiful.
I ordered this dress with custom options, hoping to get it for Summer 2022. There's a pandemic, supply-chain issues, and Christmas, and I knew this was a popular design.
When the tracking number arrived, I still figured it would be another month before it arrived, so I was ecstatic to get it before Christmas. It is well-made, fits nicely, and is beautiful.
I do not have the dress this reproduction is based on, to speak to authenticity, but I have no regrets!
Hoping to see more Gunne Sax styles in the future!!
